I am currently a Military Wife and mother. My son was born April 14, 2009 the natural way. We didn't even go to a hospital. These days, with my husband off doing Army things, I spend most of my time doing motherly things, but I still use my LJ as the dumping ground of my brain, so who knows what will show up in these posts.

“This bridge will only take you halfway there, to those mysterious lands you long to see. Through gypsy camps and swirling Arab fair, and moonlit woods where unicorns run free. So come and walk awhile with me and share the twisting trails and wonderous worlds Ive known. But this bridge will only take you halfway there. The last few steps you have to take alone.”
-Shel Silverstein

“All day I think about it, then at night I say it. Where did I come from, and what am I supposed to be doing? I have no idea. My soul is from elsewhere, I'm sure of that, and I intend to end up there.”
-Jalal ad-Din Rumi

“When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle. Then I realised that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me.”
-Emo Phillips
